SMU Animal Day 2018

SMU Animal Day is coming back this year, bigger and better!
Celebrating the bond between man and animals, SMU Animal Day is an annual event that aims to highlight the importance of responsible pet ownership and encourage adoption while advocating against irresponsible breeding. This year, the theme is ‘Su-PAW Heroes’, with the message that anyone can be a hero by simply giving a second chance to our Singapore Specials.

SMU Animal Day 2018 is a day where we celebrate the special relationship between humans and animals, because we share a powerful two-way bond that is complementary. Animals do not have a voice, but humans play an important role in giving animals that voice. To commemorate our love and respect for the animals, all activities held at Animal Day would be centred around the objective of raising awareness on animal shelters, adoption, the rising numbers of abandoned animals and the importance of responsible pet ownership. We hope that all our participants will be able to bring home a few simple messages – leave no animal behind, all animals deserve a chance to live, love all the same, and giving opens the way for receiving.
